The work-in-progress journalistic Graphic Novel tells the story about the March 2023 expedition into Canada’s icy Northwest-Territories.

Preview of the storyboard

Oliver and his team of International scientists and members of the Łı́ı́dlı̨ı̨ Kų́ę́ First Nation are struggling to reinstate a scientific tower at the Scotty Creek Research Station after it was destroyed by a fierce wildfire in 2022.

The AS Dehcho is a handwriting font in the making.

It’s being built especially for this graphic novel.

Dehcho is the original name of the Mackenzie River and also the Indigenous name of the area in which the story takes place. The font will include the accents of the Liidlii Kue First Nation language Dene Zhatie, French and German.

Above that, the font will include contextual alternatives that allow various versions of letters, so for Instance, not every Capital-B looks the same.
